textures : Catalog of Emergent Forms

For the last several years, I have been interested in the concept of emergence and fascinated by the aesthetic parallels between emergent forms in nature. Inspired by the mesmerizing patterns of flowing water, I started building a catalog of these forms. Each photograph is composed to dissociate structure from context and material and to highlight the macroscopic parallels of complex organic systems.
